Conferences
The Society for Mormon Philosophy and Theology brings together scholars and others who share an interest in studying the teachings and texts of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It facilitates the sharing and discussion of work in this field by holding an annual conference. Additionally, SMPT sponsors other scholarly presentations, including sessions at the annual meetings of the American Academy of Religion.
A number of papers from our First Annual Meeting were published under the title Discourses in Mormon Theology: Philosophical and Theological Possibilities, by Greg Kofford Books.
Audio recordings of recent conferences are available for Society Members.
